BIO
Yvonne Ramage’s singer/songwriter talent has been touted
as funky-folk with a percussive guitar style comparable to
the style of Ani Difranco. Her vocals ring of siren-like quality,
which simply accentuate the already heartfelt, realistic lyrics.
Her songs tell a convincing story of everyday events that
move through our lives, reaching out in a way that touches
most all that have the fortune to hear. “Her music is
not like anything out there today”, states one of her
fans, “She’s just inspiring.”
Yvonne has been performing since 1996, for
audiences across the globe. She learned both guitar and vocals
on the isolated continent of Antarctica. Combining her love
of traveling and her love of music, Yvonne began singing to
audiences in many different countries: Antarctica, New Zealand,
Fiji and across North America.
With her newest release,
Courage and Play, Yvonne adds to her solo guitar sound, a
rhythm and bass, which marvelously fills out her well-crafted
songs. Through 2003, Yvonne will be playing the Las Vegas
area, promoting her new release. She will also extend her
musical reach to enthusiastic audiences in California and
Arizona.
